For what I see it as, its quite nice. I like the light, I like the expression, and I think overall its well drawn.

Though I'd like to knwo more. Like who she is, what she's reading, what she's thinking. I'm sure there's more to her you'd like to share.

well, i generally leave most of that up to speculation, however, since you asked

she is in a church/cathedral, im not quite sure who she is exactly, i would think someone from a rich/noble family and she's just read a passage in the bible that gave her a revelation. she's quite overwhelmed. i haven't decided if she's supposed to have gone in search of answers or is she wandered aimlessly inside and started flipping through the book, or if she was spending some personal time reading her favorite parts and suddenly it all made sense on a whole new level. either way, she's realized something that's blown her mind. i wonder where she'll go from there?

the end. i hope that was good enough?

when i just start drawing i never usually know what its going to be (big flaw on my part. like most things, i make it up as i go) so usually its better for me to START with a story

yeah, hands were never my stong point (heh heh)
i didnt use anything to lighten it but i did darken the shadow in photoshop.
